Daylight Loft: Authentic Light for Fashion & Editorials
Our Daylight Loft Studio in Berlin combines the industrial character of a factory location with the advantages of a modern natural lighting area. The centerpiece is the 6 m wide cyclorama, illuminated by generous, north-facing window fronts. This provides stable, soft light throughout the day, particularly useful for fashion productions and lookbooks.
Natural Light & Golden Hour
Photographers appreciate the Daylight Loft for its honest light characteristics. The combination of bright surfaces and the changing play of daylight enables a look that is difficult to imitate with artificial light. For productions requiring maximum control, the entire studio can be completely blacked out using professional systems.
Movable Set Wall with Historic Wired-Glass Window
Studio 02 now includes a very stable, 4 m wide set wall that can be positioned freely within the studio and also used as a room divider. Depending on the shot, it can stand in front of the cyclorama, independently on the studio floor or divide the space into separate visual areas.
The two sides have different finishes: one neutral white side and one grey, subtly grey-green patinated side designed to read as an old industrial/factory wall. An authentic historic wired-glass window is integrated into the wall. The window can be lit from behind, making both subtle window-light atmospheres and more deliberately staged lighting possible.
Combined with daylight, furniture and props, the wall can be used as a background, a mobile set element or a spatial divider. It works for portraits, ballet/dance, musicians and artist portraits, music videos, podcast setups, interviews, fashion/editorial, business portraits, social media content and photo or video productions built around a staged window-light atmosphere.
Flexibility for Content Creation
Together with the 6 m cyclorama, changing daylight and full blackout capability, the mobile wall significantly expands the number of looks that can be created within Studio 02. Neutral white setups, patinated factory scenes, window-light motifs and staged interiors with furniture or props can be combined within the same production. The loft also provides enough room for makeup, styling and client backstage areas without restricting the productive floor space.
